[Notice from Tokyo] October is "Organ Transplant Promotion Month"!

In March 2023, we signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement, the "Wide Collaboration Agreement," with our hometown of Tokyo, and are working together to further develop the capital city and improve services for its citizens in various fields.

□Notice from Tokyo
Currently, there are about 16,000 people waiting for organ transplants in Japan. However, only about 3% of them are able to receive transplants. Organ transplant is a medical procedure where the function of a damaged organ is replaced with a healthy one from a deceased donor, in order to restore its function in a person who has a serious illness or has been in an accident. This procedure cannot be done without the generous donation of organs. Your decision to donate organs can be indicated on your health insurance card, driver's license, My Number card, or through the internet. Please consider indicating your decision, whether it is "YES" or "NO", to donate organs.
