[U-15 Fukagawa] 4th day of France expedition

Day 4
Despite not showing any signs of fatigue from yesterday's game, everyone energetically ate breakfast this morning! However, despite appearances, everyone's weight has decreased during the daily weight check, so each person is required to control their meals and water intake to adjust their condition.

After breakfast, we will hold a meeting.
The dormitory is also the former player dormitory of Paris Saint-Germain, so there are plenty of spaces such as meeting rooms and lounges!

The staff at the dormitory were very warm and greeted me with a smile every time we met. They also provided me with hospitality, making me feel sad to leave tomorrow. They treated me very well!
During the meeting, we watched the footage and reviewed yesterday's game, and discussed tasks such as "preparing for defense" and "playing while considering the opponent's characteristics".

I have prepared for the afternoon game by reaffirming the importance of playing with the player next to me, judging whether to pass to space or to the feet based on the opponent, and always aiming for the goal!

After the meeting, we moved to the Clairefontaine National Football Training Center.
This facility is a facility of the French Football Association, and in addition to numerous pitches, it has all the facilities such as restaurants, accommodations, training rooms, and medical rooms!

Enjoyed lunch at the on-site restaurant, and then we were given a tour of the premises until game time. We even got to visit the building that only the French team can use!

Clairefontaine is positioned as the JFA Academy in Japan, and is an elite group composed of 23 people selected from approximately 3500 students in each grade. It has produced numerous French national team players such as Mbappe, who is currently active in Paris Saint-Germain FC, and Ibrahim Konate, who plays for Liverpool FC!

The Clairefontaine U14 and 35-minute half practice match was played by many potential players for the future French national team.

[First Half]
In the early stages, we were able to focus on the defensive preparations that we discussed in the meeting, and the defense was able to play with great concentration.
However, the opponent's technical level was also high, and once the pressure was released, there were many scenes where they were easily taken to the goal.
And if you give away a free kick in front of the goal, you will concede a goal by allowing the loose ball from that free kick to be packed in. You will end up conceding the first goal.
From there, the players were able to correct their defense and gradually create a tempo, which has led to more opportunities to confidently hold the ball and increase the number of attacks with a focus on scoring compared to yesterday.

In that, when a vertical pass from DF enters, Yuha TSUMURAYA, who was waiting in front of the goal, receives the pass and shoots to score.
A good goal was achieved with a constant attitude of aiming for the goal.
Afterwards, there were more opportunities to approach the opponent's goal, and Harushiro MATSUSHITA scored a goal with a header from a corner kick obtained from the flow of the game. They then scored a second goal in succession and turned the game around.
Furthermore, after that, when a pass is sent from the right side to the center, Yachi Teruaki, who was waiting on the left side, calmly slots it in for a goal. This makes it the third goal and puts the opponent at a distance.
The defense, centered around the GK and CB, maintained their focus until the end and successfully defended, ending the first half in a good position.

[Second Half]
In the early stages, we were able to enter the game with a good flow from the first half, pressing from the front line to steal the ball and creating several scenes where we were able to carry the ball to the goal with a short counter or take a shot.
However, the opponent's GK made a great save and we were unable to score, leading to a period of missed opportunities. As a result, the opponent gradually took control of the game.
In the midst of it, the opponent was able to take the back with just one vertical pass, and the defense was unable to catch up, resulting in a goal being scored. Even after closing in on a one-point difference, the opponent's fierce press caused a mistake in the build-up, resulting in the ball being stolen and taken to the goal where a shot was taken, resulting in a goal being scored. Suddenly, the game is tied.

Both of the two goals in the second half were conceded in the same manner as the challenge we faced yesterday.
The last 5 minutes will be an open game, and in the last play, a chance was created and a shot was taken, but it was rejected by the post. The rebound was then taken and another shot was attempted, but it was blocked by the crossbar, and the game ended.

[Match Results]
3-3
[First Half]
3-1 (Scorers: Yuha TSUMURAYA, Harushiro MATSUSHITA, Teru SORA YANAI)
[Second Half]
0-2

Little by little, my body has started to move and my good plays have increased. However, there are still challenges in areas such as defensive preparation, offensive accuracy, and competitiveness.
Tomorrow, we will move to the venue where the international tournament will be held, and we will have a practice match there. We will fix our issues, win, and prepare well so that we can welcome the tournament in a good shape!

Also, after the match, the players from Clairefontaine started to interact with each other through taking photos, and they quickly became good friends!

Gradually getting used to foreign cultures, I am now able to greet and interact with various people in French!

Off the pitch, they are very close and energetic players, so I hope they will use that energy on the pitch and perform well in the tournament!
