[U-15 Fukagawa] Day 3 of France Expedition

Day 3
We have reached the third day while fighting against jet lag!
The accommodation before the tournament will be held at the player dormitory previously used by the French powerhouse, Paris Saint-Germain FC, and we will conduct our activities there.

We are having a fulfilling time thanks to Mr. Oguri, who has been taking care of us every time Tokyo goes on a trip to France, coordinating for us even on this trip!

I have been taken care of by Mr. Oguri for 11 consecutive years, not only planning the schedule, setting up practice matches, and providing facilities and grounds related to Paris Saint-Germain FC, but also communicating with the staff of each facility to ensure that the players can spend comfortably, and preparing necessary items such as water and supplements. They provide great support to help the players prepare well and win the tournament!

Breakfast is served in a French style, with a variety of simple menu items such as cereal and bread. The players eat a surprisingly large amount of breakfast, much to the surprise of the cafeteria chef, in order to replenish their energy for the day's activities!

We trained at the ground located just a short walk from our accommodation in the morning!
Despite the light rain, our bodies were more active than yesterday. We focused on possession training and confirmed our defensive coordination. We also implemented a menu to adjust our condition while adding a bit of intensity!

We had lunch and then moved to Paris Saint-Germain's new home stadium to play two 35-minute practice matches!

In the first half, we were overwhelmed by the opponent's speed and technique, and suffered a difficult time with repeated goals. However, in the last play of the first half, player Haruki Matsushita managed to score a header from a corner kick, giving us a chance to gain momentum in the second half!

In the second half, we were able to gradually hold onto the ball and increase the number of times we approached the opponent's goal. During this time, Yuha TSUMURAYA made a dribble and entered the opponent's goal, shooting and scoring!
The total score was 2-4 and we lost, but it was a game where we could feel the world-class speed, power, and technique firsthand, and it was a match where many challenges arose both as a team and as individuals.

【Match Results】

[First Half]
1-3 (Scorer: Haruki Matsushita)
[Second Half]

In the post-match meeting, many issues were raised such as lack of communication, lack of positive challenges, and many simple technical mistakes.
We will face the challenges that arose in this match and strive to absorb more and grow in tomorrow's practice match!
