June 6 (Sat) Playoff Round 2nd Match vs. Cerezo Osaka: Announcement of the "Choose Not to Throw Away Clothes" Clothing Collection Booth
CFT² (Consortium for Fiber to Fiber) was established by six domestic textile manufacturers and bio-research institutions aiming to build a resource circulation system of "fiber to fiber" by reusing discarded clothing as fiber again.
On Saturday, June 6, during the Meiji Yasuda J1 Century Vision League Playoff Round 2 match vs Cerezo Osaka (2:00 p.m. kickoff / MUFG Japan National Stadium), CFT² will set up the "Choice Not to Throw Away Clothes" clothing collection booth.

Implementation Details
CFT² (Consortium members: TEIJIN FRONTIER Co., Ltd., Kurashiki Spinning Co., Ltd., Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth (RITE), Toray Industries, Inc., Nisshinbo Textile Inc., and Nihon Keori Co., Ltd.) is advancing a project aimed at realizing a “fiber to fiber” resource circulation, considering the current situation where many unwanted clothing items are incinerated without being reused as resources.
* This booth is operated as a commissioned project by the National Research and Development Agency New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
At the booth, we will collect unwanted clothing and conduct a survey regarding clothing collection.
Collected clothing that can be reused will be repurposed, and other clothing will be utilized for recycling technology verification and similar purposes.
Those who cooperate in clothing collection and those who respond to the clothing collection survey will receive an original charm made from scrap artificial leather (using recycled polyester) also used in soccer shoes, balls, and school backpacks.

* The following items are not accepted. Non-accepted items cannot be collected on the day and may need to be taken back with you. Thank you for your understanding.

Futons, curtains, miscellaneous goods (bags, shoes, socks, gloves, hats, aprons, neckties, towels, accessories, etc.), underwear, lingerie, swimsuits, pajamas, items with severe dirt or damage, etc.
