10/14 (Wed) About spectator manners at the Shimizu match

Club Announcement

In addition to the J.League common spectator manners and rules, new measures have been established for game hosting and watching methods as a precaution against the novel coronavirus infection during the super strict and strict alert systems.

FC Tokyo is proceeding with preparations for match hosting in accordance with the "J.League New Coronavirus Infection Control Guidelines".
※Changes from the super strict state of emergency (5,000 person limit) are indicated in red.

From Oct 10 (Sat), the match against G Osaka will be held with relaxed restrictions on the number of attendees.

Depending on the spread of COVID-19, government announcements, and decisions by local authorities, restrictions, transition timings, and operational methods may change suddenly.

□Things expected from all visitors
(1)Please refrain from attending if it is not possible, with courage.
・If you are not feeling well (e.g. fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, abnormal taste or smell)
・If there are individuals in your cohabiting family or close acquaintances who are suspected of being infected
・If there is travel to countries or regions that have been subject to entry restrictions and a mandatory observation period by the government within the past 14 days, or if there has been close contact with residents of such countries or regions

(2) Please do not shake hands or hug.

(3) Please maintain social distancing. (When entering and exiting, in lines for restrooms, etc.)
* Restrooms and concession stands tend to be crowded especially just before the match starts and during halftime, so please try to use them at other times if possible.

(4) Please be sure to wear a mask inside the stadium.
* A 100% mask-wearing rate is a condition for easing the restrictions on the number of attendees. Staff will ask those not wearing masks to comply, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

(5) Please wash your hands and sanitize your hands frequently.
* From the perspective of infection prevention, please bring disinfectant (such as portable bottles) as much as possible.

(6) Bringing alcohol is prohibited. Drinking inside the venue is strictly forbidden. If found, it will be confiscated. (No returns)

□Items to bring when watching a game
When visiting the stadium, please bring the following items in addition to your admission ticket.
・Mask
・Handkerchief

□ Entry and Exit to the Stadium
(1) Temperature will be measured at the entrance gate, and entry will not be allowed if it is 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher. Please note that even if entry is refused, there will be no refund. Also, when refusing entry, we may ask for your contact information.

(2) Hand sanitizers will be installed at all entrances. Please be sure to sanitize your hands.
※Please bring disinfectant in portable bottles or similar containers and perform frequent hand sanitization from the perspective of infection prevention.

(3) We do not organize a waiting line to secure the order of entry before the opening.
※Please come to the venue with plenty of time to allow for social distancing.
※Please refrain from forming a pre-waiting line around the stadium.
※There may be a longer wait time for entry in order to prioritize safety.

(4) Please use the following gates for entry according to the seat type. (Refer to the diagram below)
・Main 3 Gates: Main SS Seats, Main S Seats
・North Gate 2: SERRAO seats, back seats, home seats
・Back 3 Gates: Back SB seats, Home Center seats, Seven-Eleven seats, Back seats

(5) Re-entry is not allowed.

(6) From the perspective of infection prevention, regulated exit is planned after the match ends.
We plan to have the following order of exits, but we will announce each time and guide you inside the venue, so please follow the instructions and cooperate with us for the exit.
・1st Exit ⇒ Main SS Seats, Main S Seats
・2nd Exit ⇒ Home SG, Home Seats
・3rd Exit ⇒ Back SB Seats, Home Center Seats, Seven-Eleven Seats, Back Seats
※We plan to announce the exits every 5 to 10 minutes.
※There will be no player rounds after the end of the game. Only greetings from the pitch (lawn) will be conducted.
※Once the player greetings are finished, we will start the regulated exits.
※Even during regulated exits, please leave space between you and the people around you in all directions, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.


□ Events and Stalls
(1) Events will be held with full consideration of social distancing.
※Information regarding the events to be held will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(2) Mascots do not greet outside the field or in the concourse.
※Details of mascot appearances will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(3) Food and beverage (excluding alcohol) sales are available.
※Alcohol sales are not available. Also, bringing alcohol is prohibited. Drinking alcohol inside the venue is strictly prohibited. If found, it will be confiscated. (Non-returnable)
* Since congestion is expected at the stadium stalls, please bring food and drinks other than alcohol as much as possible from the perspective of infection prevention.
※Information regarding the food and beverage stalls to be held will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(4) Goods sales will be conducted.
※The stores where the event will be held will be announced on the official homepage, etc.

No smoking areas are not provided inside the (5) stadium.

When lining up at events, food and beverage stalls, and merchandise shops, please maintain sufficient social distance and keep space between each other.

□Viewing Method
(1) During viewing, moving from your seat is prohibited (such as sitting next to someone without spacing, moving to the front of the stands to call out to players, or moving to a dry place during rain).

(2) There are no visitor seats available. Please note that entry, watching, and cheering while wearing the away team's uniform and merchandise are not allowed.

Outside the stadium, please ensure social distancing and avoid actions that pose a risk of infection, such as speaking loudly, singing, cheering, and crowding.


□Cheering Style
The following actions are prohibited:
・Inciting cheers
・Cheering with vocalizations such as singing, whistling
・Waving or spinning towels, scarves, large flags, etc.
・Using megaphones including tramegas
・Percussion instruments such as drums
・High-fives, linking arms
・Cheering with big flags
・Actions that disturb other guests, such as displaying gate flags in seats, etc.
*Applause and hand clapping are permitted.

□Regarding the Display of Banners (Flags, Banners, etc.)
The display locations for banners (flags, banners, etc.) are designated. Please refrain from displaying them outside of the specified areas. Please follow the instructions of the staff when displaying.

【Submission designated location】
・Lower level: Front row seats (excluding the central part of the main stand and back stand)
・Upper level: Front and rear of the back stand
【Display time】
・Due to infection prevention, banner (flags, banners, etc.) display will be staggered.
・For those who will prepare banners (flags, banners), please gather at the "Euro Sports Ajinomoto Stadium Store Triangle Plaza" inside the stadium grounds 120 minutes before the opening.
・Temperature measurement will be conducted for those who will prepare in advance, and please note that you will not be allowed to enter if your temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher.
・Also, banner (flags, banners) display after the opening is also possible.
※Visitor's banners cannot be displayed.
※The use of adhesive tape when attaching banners is prohibited.


□Other Prohibited Items
・When visiting, please arrive at the stadium after the opening time.
・Please refrain from waiting near the player bus area or the staff entrance.
・If you do not have a ticket, please do not come to the stadium or its surrounding area.

J League Unified Prohibition Rules (J League Common Spectator Etiquette & Rules) and FC Tokyo Soccer Match Management Regulations, as well as J League New Coronavirus Infection Control Guidelines, please comply with them.

□Q&A
Q1. I’m feeling a little unwell, but my temperature is below 37.5°C. Is it okay for me to go to the stadium?
A1. If you are feeling unwell, regardless of your temperature, please have the courage to refrain from attending.

Q2. Is there a shuttle bus?
A2. Shuttle buses will be in operation. For details, please refer to the official website, etc.

Q3. Is there a waiting line before the gates open?
A3. There is no waiting line before the gates open. All seats are reserved. Please refrain from coming to the stadium before the gates open.

Q4. Will AO-AKA PARK be held?
A4. AO-AKA PARK will not be held for this match. AO-AKA PARK Online is being streamed on the official YouTube channel, so please enjoy it there.

Q5. Is it allowed to bring food and drinks containing alcohol?
A5. Bringing alcohol is prohibited. In order to observe stadium etiquette, we ask that you refrain from drinking alcohol inside the stadium. Bringing food and drinks other than alcohol is not restricted. However, bottles and cans must be transferred to paper cups as usual.

Q6. Will it be crowded when entering and exiting?
A6. Please expect congestion if you arrive just before the start of the match. Please arrive with plenty of time.
In addition, in order to alleviate congestion at the time of exit, we will implement regulated exits after the end of the game.

Q7. Is it okay to place a uniform on the empty seat next to me?
A7. There is no problem. However, please kindly inform those around you before placing it.

Q8. How should we cheer during the member announcement?
A8. Cheering out loud is prohibited. Please be sure to cheer by clapping and hand clapping.

Q9. It’s been a while since I last watched a match at Ajinomoto Stadium. I would like to welcome the players by singing "You’ll Never Walk Alone."
A9. Singing out loud is prohibited. However, it is allowed to raise scarves and similar items.

Q10. How should we cheer during the players' entrance?
A10. Cheering out loud is prohibited. Please be sure to cheer with applause and clapping.

Q11. Is it okay to raise towel scarves?
A11. There is no problem.
However, please refrain from displaying anything that may cause inconvenience to those around you. Also, waving or spinning towel scarves, etc. is prohibited.

Q12. Is it okay to raise gate flags (Gefura)?
A12. The display of gate flags is not prohibited. However, please refrain from displaying them in a way that may cause inconvenience to those around you.

Q13. Do we have to remain silent during the match?
A13. Naturally occurring voices and applause during the match are not prohibited. Please actively applaud good plays and support the players.
However, clapping and cheering out loud, which can lead to group support, are prohibited for infection prevention.

Q14. Is it allowed to move from your seat when it rains or when players come close?
Moving from your seat during the match is prohibited.

Q15. Are there any rules for waiting lines inside the stadium?
A15. When lining up at food and merchandise stands or restrooms, please follow the guidance (such as floor markings) and maintain social distancing while waiting.
Please avoid using the restroom or the shops during the moments just before the start of the match or during halftime, as they tend to be crowded.

Q16. Are there food and drink stalls inside the stadium?
A16. The stadium stalls are open. However, alcoholic beverages are not sold.
Also, you are allowed to bring in food and drinks other than alcohol. Please consider bringing your own to help alleviate congestion inside the venue.

Q17. It is hot and I cannot keep my mask on; is it okay to take it off?
A17. It is fine to remove your mask to prevent heatstroke. If you take off your mask, please be sure to maintain social distance from others and observe cough etiquette.

Q18. Are there merchandise shops?
A18. The merchandise store will be open, but the products available for sale will be limited.
There will be no new products on the day of the match, so please also consider using the official online store.

Q19. Are there gachapon machines?
A19. Gachapon items are sold, but not through the usual machines; instead, products will be handed to you by sales staff.
Also, please refrain from activities such as exchanging goods that may lead to congestion.

Q20. Are alcohol disinfectants installed?
A20. Alcohol disinfectants are installed inside the venue, but please bring your own alcohol disinfectant as much as possible.

Q21. If I forget my mask, are masks sold inside the venue?
Q21. Masks are not sold at the stadium. Please be sure to bring your own.

Q22. Are there smoking areas?
A22. There are no smoking areas inside the stadium.
