[Match Report]
【Challenge for the Future!】
Having secured participation in the national tournament, Tokyo aims to climb the steps one by one toward winning the tournament for the third consecutive time.
Tokyo features Okazaki, who has played full-time in all matches up to Sec. 11 for FC Tokyo U-23, starting in the lineup for the first time since the Tokyo Club Youth U-17 Soccer Championship in the U-18 category.
They approached the match using the 4-4-2 formation, which has been the base this season.

[First Half]
In the first half, playing against the wind, Tokyo controlled the ball early on and tried to create chances by sending long balls from their defensive line behind the opponent's defensive line.
At the 7th minute, Hanya broke through behind the opponent's DF line and faced the GK one-on-one but was blocked.
Suzuki (Iku) rushed to the loose ball but couldn't properly control the short-bouncing ball and missed over the goal frame.
In response, Yokohama's attackers aggressively entered the vital area, shaking Tokyo's DF line.
Tokyo failed to fully mark their opponents, fell into a passive situation, and conceded the opening goal.
At the 28th minute, a pass was connected through the center, and a controlled shot from a dribble was drawn into the left corner.
Immediately after, at the 29th minute, Tokyo also created a chance.
Hasukawa passes behind the opponent's DF line, and Suzuki (Iku) faces the GK one-on-one. He tries a lob shot but hits it over the bar.
Continuing to increase the pressure and pressing toward the Yokohama goal, they equalize in the 44th minute.
In the center outside the opponent's penalty area, Suzuki (Iku) contests the ball with the opposing DF and GK, and when the ball spills loose, Uchida picks it up and slots it into the unguarded goal.
However, immediately following Yokohama's kickoff, they were allowed a vertical pass through the center, and as they carried the ball diagonally by dribbling, Go HATANO who rushed out was bypassed, resulting in a goal conceded.
They went into halftime trailing 1-2.

【Halftime】
Coach Sato: "We have more ability than we are showing. Let's reset our mindset and approach today's match with a strong determination to win."

【Second Half】
From the start, Tokyo aggressively pressed forward and repeatedly threatened Yokohama’s goal but struggled to score.
Still, in the 56th minute, Hanya earned a penalty kick, took the ball himself, and scored into the left corner to equalize.
Maintaining their momentum, Tokyo intercepted high up the field in the 58th minute when Okazaki made a steal, and Suzuki (Iku) picked up the ball.
Okazaki ran straight into the penalty area, received the ball, and attempted to dribble, but was stopped by the DF.
Furthermore, at the 64th, 66th, and 68th minutes, they approached the goal from both the left and right sides but could not score.
Still, Tokyo, maintaining their attacking stance, scored the go-ahead goal in the 79th minute.
Picking up the loose ball from the set piece, they sent it back in front of the goal to Hasukawa, who was left on the far side.
Hasukawa blocked the opponent with his body while shielding him, and scored a jumping volley with his right foot, taking the lead for the first time in this match.
They gained momentum to score an additional goal, but as they struggled to break down Yokohama's defense, the momentum shifted to Yokohama.
In the 84th minute, they allowed a cross from the left side, and the defensive line blocked the shot in front of the goal with their bodies.
However, when Yokohama regained the loose ball, the shot hit a hand, resulting in a penalty kick that leveled the score again.
Tokyo substituted Shinada for Kiji and moved Ito to the right side.
Then, in the 87th minute, Uchida broke through the left side and passed to Shinada in the center. This was quickly connected to Sugiyama, who had also come on as a substitute, and then to Ito, who had entered from the right side.
Ito evaded the opposing DF and took a controlled shot with his left foot, but it narrowly missed to the left of the goal.
During the 2 minutes of additional time, both teams had chances but failed to score, leading the match to a penalty shootout.
Yokohama, kicking second, missed their second penalty. Tokyo also missed their fourth, but Hatano saved Yokohama’s fourth attempt.
It came down to the fifth kicker to win, but the shot missed the target, and the sixth was also saved, resulting in a 3-4 defeat.
They were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
