○Match Report
[Continuing the Build-Up and Inheriting the History]

The match against last season's Premier League EAST champion, Kashiwa Reysol U-18, began under a clear sky with the kickoff by FC Tokyo U-18.

In the very first minute, Sato took a shot but did not connect well, and it did not result in a goal.
From there, the game developed into a scenario where FC Tokyo patiently endured Kashiwa's aggressive ball possession.
At 6 minutes, Kashiwa took the first shot, and at 7 minutes, they seized a brief lapse and conceded a goal.
A quick throw-in from the left side led to a cross, allowing the opposing FW, who was waiting free at the far side, to score a goal.
Time continued with Tokyo being bewildered by Kashiwa's precise ball circulation.
Before the match, to embody the words from Coach Sato to the players, 'We are challenging the champions. Absolutely do not be passive,' Tokyo kept searching for openings in Kashiwa's defense.
Even while the ball was controlled by the opponent, at the 9th minute Uchida took a shot but was unfortunately blocked by a DF.
Furthermore, in the 18th minute, Koyama, Uchida, and Sato combined on the left side to attempt a breakthrough, but were stopped by Kashiwa's solid DF.
Under the high temperature of 28°C and strong sunlight, Tokyo spent a long time on defense, but gradually their high pressing defense began to function.
At the 30th minute, creating a numerical advantage near the halfway line, they succeeded in stealing the ball, and finally Aihara took a shot from a cross. The timing was slightly off, and the shot went well wide of the goal.
At the 39th minute, they also won the ball through pressure from the front line, and finally Sato took a shot while turning around, but did not connect well.
Even while the opponent controlled the ball, Tokyo's hard work created opportunities for counterattacks, ending the first half at 0-1.

At halftime, Coach Sato encouraged the players, saying, "Apply more pressure. If you stick to what you've been working on, you have the power to turn the game around."

The second half sees Tokyo's counterattack begin.
At the 48th minute, Koyama wins the ball in an advanced position, and finally Abe takes a shot after a one-two with Okuma.
At the 50th minute, Sato's relentless high pressure wins the ball, and they carefully move it. In the end, Suzuki aims a mid-range shot with his left foot, but the GK makes the save.
At the 54th minute, Kashiwa delivered a cross from the left side and unleashed a powerful shot, but it went well wide of the goal.
Against Kashiwa’s strength in ball possession, Tokyo applied intense pressure and began to take control of the pace.
With effective approaches from the front, Tokyo repeatedly created chances by winning the ball in advanced positions.
At the 69th minute, Kashiwa also threatened the goal with a knuckleball shot from a free kick, but GK Go HATANO calmly responded and did not allow an additional goal.
Tokyo, having started to gain rhythm from their defense, launched a strong attack and scored the equalizing goal.
At the 79th minute, Sato reacted to Suzuki’s through pass and tried to get past the GK with his first touch, but they collided and a penalty was awarded.
He placed the ball himself and powerfully kicked it into the right corner, scoring his 6th goal of the league season.
Then, in the 80th minute, from a free kick earned on the left side, Okazaki connected with a header at the end but missed the target.
Riding the momentum, Tokyo relentlessly attacked Kashiwa's goal until the very end.
In the 90th minute, Tokyo regained possession and carried the ball to the front of the goal, where Nishimoto, who came on as a substitute, turned and took a left-footed shot, but it narrowly went wide to the left and did not result in a goal.
Furthermore, in additional time, Sato repeatedly pressed towards Kashiwa’s goal but was unable to score the go-ahead goal, and the match ended as is.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw, earning 1 point.
