In first-half stoppage time, the situation suddenly turned into a crisis, with a through pass played from a scramble in front of the goal, leading to another one-on-one with Tani. Tani barely managed to touch the ball with his foot, but it was heading towards the goal. However, Kobayashi cleared it at the very last moment, and the first half ended with a 0-0 score.

At halftime, Coach Kuramata emphasized reducing passing errors after regaining possession in attack, attacking starting from the flanks, and properly managing the raising and lowering of the defensive line in defense.

48 minutes: A through pass was delivered from Iwaki on the right side to Yoshida, who overlapped, and Yoshida sent in a grounded cross. However, the chance was missed as no one was able to connect with it, losing the first opportunity of the second half.

79 min After conceding the third goal and nearly losing momentum again, the opponent launched another attack with their specialty dribbling, breaking through once more. Just when Tani, who had repeatedly saved the team with fine saves, was beaten in a near-dangerous situation, this time Yoshida protected the goal with a committed defensive effort. Inspired by Yoshida’s never-give-up play until the very end, the team refocused their spirit once again.
However, the opponent also maintained focused defense until the end, making it difficult to circulate passes, and only time passed by.
89 minutes: Kishi reacted to a ball kicked from midfield into the space behind, colliding with the opposing goalkeeper. It was a chance if he could push it in, but the ball was cleared, and the final whistle blew.

It was the toughest match of the season, but it also became a valuable experience where we found many issues to address before the national tournament.

The national tournament finally starts next week. We cannot afford to lose twice to the same opponent, so we want to make thorough corrections in one week and achieve our revenge.
Today, many people came all the way to Hokkaido to support us. We truly thank you very much.
