[Fuchu School] Participation in the 8th Fuchu Foris Cup Futsal Tournament

School Report

202666日(土)・6月7日(日)にFC東京パーク府中にて第8回 府中フォーリスカップ フットサル大会」が開催され、FC東京サッカー・フットサル 府中スクールとして参加しました

This tournament is organized by the "Fuchu Foris Cup Futsal Tournament Executive Committee" and is held with the cooperation of the people of Fuchu City. It is a futsal tournament for 1st and 2nd grade elementary school students, and this is the 8th time it has been held.

We have been participating since the 1st tournament, and it has become a very valuable experience for the school students.

Day 1 of the Tournament

The number of participating school students was12 (this time, from the Futsal School Friday, Sunday, and Monday courses).

Since there were players meeting for the first time, they looked nervous at first, but as they were going to be teammates working together for two days, we started by learning each other's names and proceeded while communicating.

Also, since many of the participants were soccer school students, they reviewed the futsal rules before entering the matches.

During the matches, the players focused on "working hard both offensively and defensively," "attacking by exploiting space," and "giving their all to get back between the ball and the goal on defense," and everyone played with great effort.

Some players even protected the goal with sliding tackles, showing their strong desire to win as they gave their best.

Also, not only focusing on soccer but setting goals to "[do our best as Aoaka Kids]" and "become friends with teammates we play with" as common goals for both days, we consciously worked on these as well.

Day 2 of the Tournament

On this day, from the momentwe gathered, communication was active, and we felt the children’s high communication skills.

In the match, while continuing the efforts made on the first day, we approached the game with the mindset of "going to take the ball with the momentum of a lion" and "thinking about shooting once entering the opponent's territory (actively taking shots)."

Over the course of two days, the children played six matches, experiencing not only the joy of soccer but also its challenges and frustrations. I believe they will continue to grow even more from here.

Thank you very much to everyone who participated.

We plan to participate in the tournament again next year, so to all members of the Fuchu School from current U-6 to 1st grade, let's wear the emblem together and play in the matches!
