[Day 3 Activity Report] France Expedition 2026

School Report

On Day 3, we were able to get a good night's sleep.

Also, after breakfast, we felt growth off the pitch as they took the initiative to clean up and do other tasks.

In the morning, we visited a local elementary school.

We went to a fourth-grade class, sat down, and listened to an explanation of what we would be doing today.

After that, we moved to the schoolyard and danced together the dance they were learning in class.

Also, conversations about Japanese anime, manga, and popular cards were lively.

After that, it was free time. We played soccer together and interacted a lot as we were asked for autographs.

Afterwards, we returned to the classroom and held a Japanese language lesson.

We wrote our names together in kanji and also practiced writing in hiragana.

After that, we performed the FC Tokyo chant, which will be sung at the parade before the tournament starting tomorrow, as a rehearsal.

We ate lunch together with the school meal.

After finishing eating, we had a lot of fun with the plastic bottle challenge!

As we left the cafeteria, there was a loud cheer of "TOKYO!" We were also bombarded with autograph requests here.

In the afternoon, we moved to the pitch for final adjustments ahead of tomorrow’s tournament. We held a training match.

The training matches against Dynamo Kyiv from Ukraine, with whom we have maintained ongoing exchanges, and oneFC Miami

were our first overseas opponents, and we were overwhelmed by their momentum and atmosphere.

After it ended, they firmly shook hands and expressed their gratitude here using English.

The meeting after it ended involved a thorough review.

To Dynamo Kyiv, who had returned to their accommodation earlier, we gave a gift from Japan as a thank you for playing the training match and for the ongoing exchange.

When we gave them souvenirs brought from Japan, they were very pleased.

After dinner, we held another meeting using footage from the training match in Japan.

Tomorrow is finally the day of the tournament!

In the morning, all 48 participating teams will parade through the city. In the afternoon, the preliminary league matches will take place.

We will take on the challenge well prepared!
