[For 5th and 6th Grade Elementary Students] School Exchange Match (vs Urawa Reds)

School Report

On Saturday, May 16, at Saitama Stadium 2002 Ground 4, we held an exchange match targeting 5th and 6th grade elementary school students with the Urawa Reds school players!

This was the first exchange match held with the Urawa Reds school students.

On the way from the meeting place to the match venue, the area was filled with Urawa Reds supporters as far as the eye could see, and the children seemed to feel a slight 'away' atmosphere while raising their spirits for the exchange match.

On the day, each club formed two teams and matches were held.

From the very first match, the children were full throttle, engaging in intense battles for the ball and fierce contests for goals, resulting in a highly exciting game!

Since they were 5th and 6th graders, as the matches progressed, coaching and communication among the players increased, and many scenes showed them playing while calling out to each other.

With each match, teamwork deepened, leading to moments where goals were scored through excellent passing plays, as well as scenes where everyone physically defended the goal together. It was an exchange match filled with a strong desire to win felt throughout.

Although the temperature was a bit high, the children played energetically until the very end!

It was an opportunity to truly feel the joy of playing with teammates and successfully completing a play together while encouraging each other!

I believe this experience became a time that contributed to the growth of the children.

Moving forward, through exchange matches, we will continue our activities so that the children can gain many stimuli and learnings, while accumulating wonderful experiences together with their teammates.
