[For Grades 3 to 6] In-School Exchange Match at Ajinomoto Stadium

School Report

On May 5 (Tue, public holiday), we held an "In-School Exchange Match" for elementary school students in grades 3 to 6 attending the FC Tokyo Soccer and Futsal School at FC Tokyo's home stadium, Ajinomoto Stadium.

On the day, nearly 150 school students participated, forming teams with friends they usually train with at school as well as new friends they met for the first time, and held the exchange matches!

Although it was held under heat and strong sunlight that you wouldn't expect in early May, the venue was energized by technical and passionate play that far surpassed the heat!

Between matches, there was constant feedback from the coaches and conversations among the school students, and you could sense their competitive spirit from their usual school activities, saying things like, "Let's do this in the next match" and "If we win the next one, we should be champions!"

During the match, especially when a goal was scored, loud cheers erupted from teammates, coaches, and watching parents, making the sight of the school students in full motion very impressive.

There were also moments where the players proactively shared what went well and what they found difficult, reunions with friends who had moved classes and coaches who had previously been in charge, and many conversations full of smiles even outside of the matches.

At the announcement of the rankings, applause was given not only to the winning team but to all teams, and the warmth of the FC Tokyo family, including coaches, school students, and parents, was deeply felt.

It was a valuable opportunity for the school students to unite and get excited in the same stadium as the top team!!
