[Futsal School] Training Camp for the Vermont Cup
On March 26 and 27, over two days, we held a training camp in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, with 20 members (3rd to 5th graders) participating in the Vermont Cup within the futsal school.
As a futsal school team, this was the second consecutive year for holding the camp, and this year it was held at a different location than last year.

For both the outbound and return trips, the players used the Azusa limited express train, enjoying the scenery from the train windows and engaging in lively conversations with their teammates, each spending their time in their own way.
On the way back, many players were seen sleeping soundly, tired from the two days of activities.

On site, we held futsal matches, 8-a-side soccer games, and activities (treasure hunt).
In the futsal matches, we faced a team representing Yamanashi Prefecture again this year. Since the matches took place immediately after traveling, there were moments when the players felt the difficulty of their condition, but the experience in a different environment provided new insights and opportunities for growth for the players.

In the 8-a-side soccer matches, we held exchange games and mixed-format matches with everyone from Ventforet Kofu on a wonderful artificial turf pitch.

While usually focusing on futsal activities, there were many new discoveries made through the soccer matches.
Also, in the mixed-format matches, it was impressive to see players actively communicating and demonstrating leadership.

During the treasure hunt activity, the players showed concentration equal to their usual training and enjoyed working together with their teammates.

This training camp was also supported by Fresh Del Monte Japan Co.,Ltd., who provided us with bananas.
They supported the players with energy replenishment during matches and as snacks, and even players who usually do not eat bananas showed smiles at the sweet and delicious bananas.

During this training camp, sharing meals and lodging together brought the players closer, further strengthening the sense of unity as a team.

We will carry this experience forward into the Vermont Cup qualifiers starting in May.

Finally, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the players and parents who participated in this camp, everyone who cooperated and supported us, and the teams we competed against.

Thank you very much.
