“I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue leading FC Tokyo in the 2026/27 season. It is a great honor to keep fighting alongside this club.
In the Meiji Yasuda J1 Century Vision League, the players and all staff fought together toward the club’s goal of winning the championship, but we were unable to achieve that goal. We sincerely accept this result and believe that we must turn the frustration felt throughout the season into a driving force for growth.
In the 2026/27 season, to meet the club’s expectations and everyone’s hopes, I will approach this with greater determination and responsibility than ever before.
However, our2026 season is not over yet. We will give our all in the final match held this weekend at MUFG Stadium, delivering victory to our supporting partner companies, local community, and the fans and supporters who have always passionately empowered the team. We will prepare appropriately for victory and fight united as one team to end this season with smiles.
