[Important] Regarding spectator etiquette for the 8/1 (Saturday) Tosu match

We have made some changes to the icon for "prohibited actions", so we have updated it.


In matches under a state of heightened alert and strict security measures, in addition to the J-League's common spectator manners and rules, new measures have been established for game hosting and viewing methods as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
FC Tokyo will proceed with preparations for match hosting in accordance with the "J.League New Coronavirus Infection Control Guidelines".

Please check the following for the spectator manners for the 2020 Meiji Yasuda J1 League 8th round match against Sagan Tosu (kickoff at 19:00 / Ajinomoto Stadium) on 8/1 (Sat).
Depending on the spread of COVID-19, government announcements, and decisions by local authorities, restrictions, transition timings, and operational methods may change suddenly.

□Changes from the July 18 match against Urawa
① To ensure compliance with spectator manners, bringing alcohol into the venue is prohibited.
Drinking alcohol inside the venue is strictly prohibited. If found, it will be confiscated. (Non-refundable)
② To alleviate congestion when leaving, regulated exits will be implemented.
③ From the perspective of infection prevention, staggered display of banners (flags, horizontal banners, etc.) is planned.

□Things expected from all visitors
(1)Please refrain from attending if it is not possible, with courage.
・If you are not feeling well (e.g. fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, abnormal taste or smell)
・If there are individuals in your cohabiting family or close acquaintances who are suspected of being infected
・If there is travel to countries or regions that have been subject to entry restrictions and a mandatory observation period by the government within the past 14 days, or if there has been close contact with residents of such countries or regions

(2) Please do not shake hands or hug.

(3) Please maintain social distancing. (When entering and exiting, in lines for restrooms, etc.)
* Restrooms and concession stands tend to be crowded especially just before the match starts and during halftime, so please try to use them at other times if possible.

Please wear a mask at the (4) stadium.
※Please be sure to observe social distancing and cough etiquette when removing your mask as a measure against heat stroke.

(5) Please wash your hands and sanitize your hands frequently.
* From the perspective of infection prevention, please bring disinfectant (such as portable bottles) as much as possible.

(6) Bringing alcohol is prohibited. Drinking inside the venue is strictly forbidden. If found, it will be confiscated. (No returns)

□Items to bring when watching a game
When visiting the stadium, please bring the following items in addition to your admission ticket.
・Mask
・Handkerchief

□ Entry and Exit to the Stadium
(1) Temperature will be measured at the entrance gate, and entry will not be allowed if it is 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher. Please note that even if entry is refused, there will be no refund. Also, when refusing entry, we may ask for your contact information.

(2) Hand sanitizers will be installed at all entrances. Please be sure to sanitize your hands.
※Please bring disinfectant in portable bottles or similar containers and perform frequent hand sanitization from the perspective of infection prevention.

(3) The entrance gates vary depending on the seat type. (Refer to the diagram below)
・Main 3 Gates: Main SS Seats, Main S Seats
・North Gate 2: SERRAO seats, back seats, home seats

(4) We plan to have regulated exits after the game from the perspective of infection prevention.
We are planning to have the following players leave the field in the order listed below. However, please note that we will provide instructions through the in-stadium announcement, so please follow the instructions and cooperate with us in leaving the field. Thank you for your cooperation.
In addition, due to the regulation expulsion, we will not be making rounds to the stands after the end of the game. Thank you for your understanding.
・Players will start the regulation expulsion after leaving the pitch.
・1st⇒Main SS seats, Main S seats
・2nd⇒Home seats
・3rd⇒Center seats, Back seats
※We plan to announce the expulsion every 5-10 minutes.
※During the players' greetings, customers of any seat type may leave.

(5) Re-entry is not allowed.

(6) We do not allow saving places to secure the order of entry before the gates open.

□ Events and Stalls
(1) Events will be held with full consideration of social distancing.
※Information regarding the events to be held will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(2) Mascots do not greet outside the field or in the concourse.
※Details of mascot appearances will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(3) Food and beverage (excluding alcohol) sales are available.
※Alcohol sales are not available. Also, bringing alcohol is prohibited. Drinking alcohol inside the venue is strictly prohibited. If found, it will be confiscated. (Non-returnable)
※Due to expected congestion at the venue's shops, please bring non-alcoholic food and drinks as much as possible for infection prevention.
※Information regarding the food and beverage stalls to be held will be provided on the official homepage, etc.

(4) Goods sales will be conducted.
※The stores where the event will be held will be announced on the official homepage, etc.

(5) No temporary smoking area will be set up.

When lining up at events, food and beverage stalls, and merchandise shops, please maintain sufficient social distance and keep space between each other.

□Viewing Method
(1) During viewing, moving from your seat is prohibited (such as sitting next to someone without spacing, moving to the front of the stands to call out to players, or moving to a dry place during rain).

(2) There are no visitor seats available. Please note that entry, watching, and cheering while wearing the away team's uniform and merchandise are not allowed.

Outside the stadium, please ensure social distancing and avoid actions that pose a risk of infection, such as speaking loudly, singing, cheering, and crowding.

The following actions are prohibited.
・Inciting support
・Cheering by singing or shouting, blowing a whistle
・Clapping ※Applause is allowed.
・Waving or spinning towels, scarves, flags, etc.

・High five, shoulder huddle
・Support with the use of big flags
・Acts such as displaying gate flags on seats that cause inconvenience to other customers

Regarding the display of banners (flags, banners, etc.)
Banner (flags, banners, etc.) display locations have been determined. Please refrain from displaying them in locations other than the designated ones. Please follow the instructions of the staff when displaying them.

□Other Prohibited Items
・When visiting, please arrive at the stadium after the opening time.
・Please refrain from waiting near the player bus area or the staff entrance.
・If you do not have a ticket, please do not come to the stadium or its surrounding area.

J League Unified Prohibition Rules (J League Common Spectator Manners & Rules) and FC Tokyo Soccer Match Management Regulations, as well as J League New Coronavirus Infection Control Guidelines, please comply with them.

Q1. I’m feeling a little unwell, but my temperature is below 37.5°C. Is it okay for me to go to the stadium?
A1. If you are feeling unwell, regardless of your temperature, please have the courage to refrain from attending.

Q2. Is there a shuttle bus?
A2. During the super strict security period (with a limit of 5,000 people or less), shuttle bus services will not be available. Please use regular bus services.

Q3. Is there a waiting line before the gates open?
A3. There is no waiting line before the gate opens. All seats are designated seats. Please refrain from coming to the stadium before the gate opens.

Q4. Will the Blue-Red Park be held?
A4. During the super strict security period (with a limit of 5,000 people or less), AO-AKA PARK will not be held. Please enjoy AO-AKA PARK Online, which is being streamed on the official YouTube channel.

Q5. Can I bring in drinks and food containing alcohol?
A5. Bringing alcohol is prohibited. In order to observe stadium etiquette, we ask that you refrain from drinking alcohol inside the stadium. Bringing food and drinks other than alcohol is not restricted. However, bottles and cans must be transferred to paper cups as usual.

Q6. Will it be crowded during entry and exit?
A6. Please expect congestion if you arrive just before the start of the match. Please arrive with plenty of time.
In addition, in order to alleviate congestion at the time of exit, we will implement regulated exits after the end of the game.

Q7. Is it okay to place a uniform on the vacant seat next to me?
A7. There is no problem. However, please say a word to the people around you before placing it.

Q8. How should we liven up the atmosphere during the member announcement?
A8. Shouting and inciting the surrounding crowd with clapping is prohibited. Please liven up the atmosphere with applause.

Q9. It’s been a while since I last watched a match at Ajinomoto Stadium. I want to welcome the players by singing "You’ll Never Walk Alone."
A9. Singing out loud is prohibited. However, it is allowed to raise scarves or similar items.

Q10. How can we liven up the atmosphere when players enter?
A10. Shouting and inciting the surrounding crowd with clapping is prohibited. Please enjoy and liven up the atmosphere with applause.

Q11. Is it allowed to raise a towel scarf?
A11. There is no problem.
However, please refrain from displaying anything that may cause inconvenience to those around you. Also, waving or spinning towel scarves, etc. is prohibited.

Q12. Is it allowed to raise a gate flag (Gefura)?
A12. Displaying gate flags is not prohibited. However, please refrain from displaying flags that may cause inconvenience to those around you.

Q13. Do we have to remain silent during the match?
A13. Naturally occurring voices and applause during the match are not prohibited. Please actively applaud good plays and support the players.
However, clapping and cheering out loud, which can lead to group support, are prohibited for infection prevention.

Q14. Is it allowed to move seats when it rains or when players come close?
It is prohibited to move from your seat during the game.

Q15. Are there any rules for waiting lines inside the stadium?
A15. When lining up at food and merchandise stalls or restrooms, please follow the guidance (such as floor markings) and maintain social distancing while waiting.
Please avoid using the restroom or the shops during the moments just before the start of the match or during halftime, as they tend to be crowded.

Q16. Are there any food and beverage stalls inside the stadium?
A16. The stadium shop is open. However, alcoholic beverages are not sold.
Also, non-alcoholic beverages and food are allowed to be brought in. Please consider bringing your own to help alleviate congestion inside the venue.

Q17. Can I take off my mask even though it's hot?
A17. It is not a problem to remove the mask for heatstroke prevention. If you remove the mask, please be sure to maintain a social distance from those around you and consider cough etiquette.

Q18. Is there a merchandise store?
A18. The merchandise store will be open for business, but the items available for sale will be limited.
There will be no new products on the day of the match, so please also consider using the official online store.

Q19. Is there a gachapon?
A19. We sell gachapon, but it is not sold through regular vending machines. Our sales staff will hand you the products.
Also, please refrain from activities such as exchanging goods that may lead to congestion.

Q20. Is alcohol disinfection installed?
A20. Alcohol disinfection is installed inside the venue, but please bring your own alcohol disinfection as much as possible.

Q21. If I forget my mask, are masks sold inside the venue?
Q21. Masks are not sold at the stadium. Please make sure to bring your own.

Q22. Are there smoking areas?
A22. It will not be installed inside the stadium.
