[Report] Tokyo Metropolitan Children's Comprehensive Medical Center Soccer Class and Match Viewing/Support Live Viewing

Hometown Activities

On Saturday, October 19, FC Tokyo collaborated with the Tokyo Metropolitan Children's Comprehensive Medical Center to conduct a program for children battling various illnesses and injuries, holding a soccer class led by coaches from the Promotion Department as well as match viewing and support live viewing.

Note: On Oct 16 (Wed), FC Tokyo players' association visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Children's Medical Center.

□Purpose of Implementation
This project was carried out with the hope of cheering up children fighting various illnesses and injuries, and allowing them to enjoy sports from the perspectives of "doing," "watching," and "supporting" through physical activity, match viewing, and cheering.

□Implementation Details
1. Soccer school by the Development Department Coach
In addition to the Development Department Coach, Naohiro ISHIKAWA Club Communicator also participated!
We had fun moving our bodies in a soccer class tailored to each child.

2. Match Viewing and Cheer Live Viewing
With the cooperation of DAZN, we held a live viewing to cheer for the 2019 Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company J1 League Sec. 29 match vs Vissel Kobe (1:00 p.m. kickoff / NOEVIR Stadium Kobe) inside the hospital!
Players who visited on 10/16 (Wed) also played in the match, and the children cheered for the players with a pocket guide in hand.
When a goal was scored, Ishikawa CC, the Development Department Coach, and the friends around them high-fived in celebration, making it a very exciting live viewing!
