○Match Report
A match at the home of Yokohama F.Marinos Junior Youth, Marinos Town. This top-tier clash, where neither side can afford to lose, kicked off with Yokohama F.Marinos starting the game.
From the start, Musashi applied intense pressing from the front to win the ball and targeted the Marinos' goal.
2nd minute, Mizuta dribbles and through-passes to Imamura. He shoots with his left foot, but the shot is blocked by a DF.
4th minute, from the combination between Kubo and Mizuta, Mizuta takes a shot, but it is saved by the GK.
6th minute, Kubo takes a left-footed shot from a central break, but the GK catches it.
Tokyo dominated the match from the start.
Then, in the 8th minute, they took the lead with an own goal caused by a defensive miscommunication in the Marinos backline.
Musashi pressed forward aiming for an additional goal against the Marinos.
In the 11th minute, Mizuta attempted a left-footed shot from a loose ball after a corner kick, but it went over the bar.
At 26 minutes, they applied intense pressure in midfield and won the ball. Mizuta aimed for a long-range shot, but the GK made a fine save, preventing a goal.
At 30 minutes, Kubo also took the ball and made a through pass to Imamura. Facing the GK one-on-one, he had a clear chance but was saved by the GK.
Then, in the 36th minute, Kubo skillfully weaved through the crowded area in front of the Marinos' goal and took a brilliant shot with his right foot. He scored the long-awaited additional goal.
Scoring an additional goal at a good time, they went into halftime with a 2-goal lead.
In the second half, the Marinos launched a vigorous attack.
At 46 minutes, a shot was taken from outside the penalty area, but the DF blocked it with his body.
At 49 minutes, they were pushed back to the goal and launched a fierce attack, but they held firm with GK Yamada at the center of the defense.
Due to the heat, both teams began to show signs of fatigue, and mistakes led to an increase in both danger and opportunities.
At the 60th minute, a cross from Mizuta on the left side to the far side. Kubo took a volley shot, but unfortunately it hit the post.
Then, at the 64th minute, the opponent picked up a loose ball in front of Tokyo's goal and scored. The gap was narrowed to one goal.
Marinos launched powerful attacks aiming to equalize, but the defense, centered on goalkeeper Yamada and defenders Tanaka and Takenami, stayed focused and held firm, ending the match 2-1.
