○Match Digest
Riding the wave after winning the opening match, FC Tokyo U-15 Musashi faced FC Tama Junior Youth in Sec. 2 of the 2013 6th Tokyo Youth (U15) Soccer League (Tokyo Top League), with kickoff at 5:00 p.m.

From the start, Tokyo boldly aimed for the opponent's goal. At 2 minutes, Ikiji received the ball in midfield and passed it to Kuwahara, who had broken behind the opposing defenders. Kuwahara took a shot over the opposing GK's head, but unfortunately it went just wide. At 13 minutes, Takahashi intercepted and played the ball out to Kuwahara, who had moved into space on the right. Takahashi, who had run up to the front of the goal, attempted a header from Kuwahara's cross but was stopped by the opposing GK. The chances continued. At 28 minutes, Tokyo connected passes smoothly in midfield between Tomoya Kobayashi, Ito, and Nagashima. Finally, Ikiji received a vertical pass, turned skillfully to face forward, and took a mid-range shot, but it went straight to the opposing GK. Then at 29 minutes, a passing exchange between Sekiguchi, Nagashima, and Ikiji created rhythm. Ikiji broke through the center, drew defenders, and delivered a perfect through pass. Nagashima received it and calmly pushed it in to score the opening goal!! Four minutes later at 33 minutes, Ikiji received a ball built up from the defensive line on the right side, cut inside, and again played a through pass to the front line. Mikio Kobayashi ran in from behind, calmly slotted it in to add another goal, and they went into halftime leading 2-0!!

In the second half, having confirmed the need to further improve quality in both offense and defense, the team approached the match. From the start, the pace was controlled by Tokyo, with players and the ball moving smoothly. At the 22nd minute, through midfield passing exchanges that shook the opposing DF from side to side, Tomoya Kobayashi delivered a sharp wedge pass from the right side. Mikio Kobayashi received it and, with one touch, connected to Ito’s shot who was running in from behind. Although the shot was unfortunately blocked by the opposing GK, Matsuoka, who stayed close to the goal until the end, scored a splendid sliding shot to make it the third goal!! After that, despite a fierce counterattack from FC Tama, the Tokyo DF line, centered around GK Go Hatano, maintained concentration until the very end and securely protected the goal, ending the match. They achieved their second win without conceding a goal.
