○Match Digest
FC Tokyo U-15 Musashi entered from the 2nd Round of the 27th Japan Club Youth Soccer Championship (U-15) Tokyo Preliminary Final Tournament. Today's opponent, who advanced from the 1st Round, was Jefa FC. This tense match, where the winning team would earn the right to participate in the Kanto Tournament, kicked off at 4:45 p.m. at Waseda University Higashifushimi Ground.

From the start, Tokyo combined dribbling and passing to aggressively launch attacks aiming for the goal. The first shot of the match was a mid-range shot by Kuwahara in the 3rd minute. Just when it seemed Tokyo would maintain the momentum, there was a tense moment in the 5th minute. Due to a careless mistake, they were caught on a counterattack and faced a one-on-one with GK Shima, but he made a fine save. This play shifted the momentum sharply in Tokyo's favor. In the 6th minute, Nishimoto unleashed a powerful mid-range shot, which was unfortunately blocked by the opposing goalkeeper. Riding the wave, Tokyo scored the long-awaited opening goal in the 11th minute when Sekikawa’s right-footed mid-range shot was drawn into the right corner of the goal!! After that, Ryo Sato, Nishimoto, and Kuwahara continuously threatened the goal, but no additional goals were scored before the first half ended.

In the second half, the opponent increased their attacking numbers and threatened Tokyo. Several dangerous situations arose from set pieces, but GK Shimaa led an impenetrable defense. Tokyo’s attackers did not remain silent either. They aggressively sought additional goals with Sekikawa’s dribbling shots and Nishimoto’s middle-range shots, but could not shake the net. At the 63rd minute, tired Tsukada was replaced by Aihara, which brought even greater stability to the defense and Tokyo began to dominate the match. At the 79th minute, substitute Aihara also energized the attack, dribbling past two opposing defenders on the left side and unleashing a powerful middle-range shot that struck the crossbar. Although they controlled the game, they could not score additional goals, but maintained their concentration until the end, securing this important match and earning the right to participate in the Kanto Tournament!
