At the 'Hoozuki Street' event held as a kickoff for the 'Asakusa Hoozuki Market,' the leader of the firefighters leads a procession through the shopping street, visiting each store together with the Shin-Nakamise Shopping Street mascot 'Shin Nyaka,' and performs a ceremonial hand clap praying for prosperous business.
