[Event Report] JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba Held!
FC Tokyo held the JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba on Saturday, May 16, 2026!
What is Nadeshiko Hiroba…
It is a place and time where women, from children to adults, can casually 'start,' 'enjoy,' and 'continue' playing soccer or futsal regularly in their daily lives. FC Tokyo supports and implements the 'Nadeshiko Hiroba' project, promoted by the Japan Football Association (JFA), aimed at spreading women's soccer.
Elementary School Division
This time, the event was held with 11 participants. It was an activity filled with smiles and energy throughout.
For the warm-up, we played "Dribble Tag." By freely moving the ball while checking the surroundings and being aware of the distance from others, participants were able to naturally move their bodies while having fun.
At first, some participants appeared nervous, but gradually smiles increased, and it was impressive to see them actively communicating with each other as they engaged in the activities.

In the subsequent shooting practice, the focus was on firmly carrying the ball toward the goal and taking bold shots. Although the players were initially hesitant, as they repeated the practice, they began to aim powerfully for the goal, and it was impressive to see their joy when they scored.
In the subsequent 1-on-1 and 2-on-2 mini-games, participants challenged themselves to choose their plays while observing their opponents and to aim for goals through teamwork. In the 1-on-1 games, there were many instances of aggressive attacks, and in the 2-on-2 games, players showed a willingness to cooperate with teammates through passing and covering. Each participant experienced both successes and failures, yet their positive attitude and effort until the very end were truly impressive.
Finally, we used a large court and played a game with everyone. In the wide space, each individual played with full effort, being mindful of the dribbling, shooting, and teamwork they had worked on during the training so far.
There were many scenes of participants chasing the ball with all their might and cheering for their teammates, allowing everyone to enjoy interacting through soccer.
Thank you very much to everyone who participated.
We will continue to provide an environment where children can play safely and enjoyably.
We will continue our activities cherishing each girl's love for soccer!
Adult Division
This time, the event was held with two participants. Due to the small number of attendees, we focused on carefully communicating with each individual, confirming basic skills, and providing personalized advice.
In the training, we first focused on the basics of dribbling and passing. We practiced repeatedly while checking the feel of ball touches, body orientation, and awareness needed to deliver the ball accurately to a teammate. The participants were very enthusiastic, and gradual improvements in movement and stability were observed during play.

In the shooting practice that followed, we reviewed the placement of the ball, the position of the supporting foot, and how to use the body with awareness of the goal. Because the group was small, we were able to give detailed advice on each play, and it was impressive to see the participants actively asking questions while taking on the challenges.
Additionally, we allocated plenty of time for communication with the coach during breaks in training, allowing participants to share their usual concerns and questions, as well as what they value in enjoying soccer.
It was a peaceful time, focusing not only on skill improvement but also on creating an atmosphere where everyone can participate comfortably and enjoyably.
We will continue activities that allow each individual to enjoy soccer and feel a sense of accomplishment at their own pace.
