Tokyo Football Club Co., Ltd., at today's board of directors meeting, resolved to have shares to be issued in a third-party allotment capital increase subscribed by Mixi, Inc., and hereby announces this decision. 
This matter will be formally decided after approval at the J.League board meeting on November 25, 2021, and the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on December 10, 2021, with the share issuance scheduled for February 1, 2022. After the third-party allotment capital increase, Mixi, Inc. will own 24,000 shares (representing 51.3% of voting rights). 

MIXI, Inc.,since 2018 has supported FC Tokyo as a club sponsor and shareholder.From 2019, as a marketing partner, they have also supported providing spaces where FC Tokyo fans and supporters can enjoy together with their friends. 

FC Tokyo,in the 2019season,finished 2nd in the J1 League, with an average attendance exceeding31,000 spectators. However, on the other hand, the impact of the novel coronavirus continuing from the 2020 season has been significant, resulting in a severe situation including a large decrease in revenue mainly from ticket sales. 
Amid these circumstances, combining the strength of the existing major shareholders, we have decided to have Mixi, Inc. subscribe to a third-party capital increase to further develop and grow the club and make it a club worthy of the capital city, Tokyo.
