【Comment from "Teikyo University"】
Teikyo University was established in 1966 in Hachioji City, Tokyo. It began with two faculties and three departments: the Faculty of Letters with the Departments of Japanese Literature and English Literature, and the Faculty of Economics with the Department of Economics, starting with 200 students. Over time, it has expanded its potential as a place of learning. With the educational philosophy of "My Way," it aims to nurture individuals who can fully utilize their innate individuality by acquiring knowledge and skills and acting responsibly. Its educational guidelines are defined as "Practical Learning," "Internationality," and "Openness." In June 2016, it celebrated its 50th anniversary, with 150,000 graduates active in various fields. Currently, it has grown into a comprehensive university with five campuses in Itabashi, Hachioji, Utsunomiya, Fukuoka, and Kasumigaseki, comprising 10 faculties, 32 departments, and 11 graduate schools, with approximately 23,000 enrolled students. Environmental improvements for the new era are steadily progressing, including the renewal of the Itabashi campus in 2012, the opening of the new Fukuoka campus in 2014, and the completion of a new building at the Hachioji campus in 2018.
We will support and cheer together with the fans, supporters, and local community through the club sponsorship agreement with FC Tokyo.
