[For 6th Grade Elementary Students] FC Tokyo Winter Cup 2025 supported by Sieg Corporation
On December 27th and 28th, we held the "FC Tokyo Winter Cup 2025 supported by Sieg Corporation"!
FC Tokyo soccer and futsal school 4 sixth-grade teams,
and 20 youth and club teams active in Tokyo gathered at the Tokyo Gas Fukagawa Ground to hold a two-day tournament.
Friends who usually train together at the same school and school members from other venues meeting for the first time faced the matches together as teammates over these two days.
At first, there were signs of nervousness between them, but as the matches progressed, a sense of camaraderie grew, the team’s unity strengthened, and the number of team plays increased with each game.
After goals, there were many scenes of teammates exchanging high-fives and sharing their joy, with numerous moments reminiscent of goal scenes from the FC Tokyo top team!
Additionally, there were many matches between youth teams and club teams active in Tokyo that rarely get the chance to compete against each other, resulting in numerous intense and exciting games.
Among the 6th graders, there are players for whom this tournament will be their last in elementary school, but we hope they will apply the experience gained through this tournament to the next stage and achieve even greater success.
We look forward to the day when the opponents who competed in this tournament can once again play soccer together as teammates.
