I am proud to be able to serve as captain at FC Tokyo. Since it comes with significant responsibility, I want to act with constant consideration not only for my play but also for what I can do off the pitch to unite the team. It would be meaningless if I became so conscious of things off the pitch that I couldn’t perform as usual on the pitch. I believe focusing on my own play will ultimately lead to better team performance, so on the pitch, I want to enjoy the game without overthinking it.
Please fight alongside us in the 2026 season as well!
