【Report】Masataka KOBAYASHI Visits Children's Hospital Facility

Top Team

On May 13, 2024 (Monday), Masataka KOBAYASHI, as part of his rookie training, visited the Tokyo Metropolitan Children's Medical Center (Fuchu City), the Donald McDonald House Fuchu, the Sakakibara Memorial Hospital (Fuchu City), and the Donald McDonald Family Room at the Sakakibara Memorial Hospital to interact with hospitalized children, their families, medical staff, and volunteers. We would like to report on this visit.

Children were surprised by the visit of professional soccer players and had various conversations such as "tall" and "big hands", and spent a peaceful time surrounded by many smiles.
In addition, we have received words of encouragement from healthcare professionals, saying "Having professional soccer players come visit is not only uplifting for the children, but also for us."

On that day, the visit was conducted as part of the activities of the Japan Professional Soccer Players Association, with Vice President Shuichi GONDA accompanying us.

□FC Tokyo Masataka KOBAYASHI Comment
“This time, I visited the Donald McDonald House/Family Room and the hospital for the first time, and I think it was very good to learn about the facilities, the people working there, and the people using them. I am 18 years old now, and since I was able to learn about this at this timing, I want to work hard as an FC Tokyo player to first let more people know about it and to spread awareness about the facilities and their activities.”
