Regarding the incident during the Tokyo Verdy match in the 8th round of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League on April 13th (Sat).

Club Announcement

The following incidents were confirmed during the 8th round of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League match between FC Tokyo and Verdy on Saturday, April 13, 2024. We will report on FC Tokyo's response on the day and future measures.




□ Incident Details
・Multiple posters believed to be intended to mock FC Tokyo were found on Stadium Street near Keio Tobitakyu Station.
・Part of it is attached to the vending machine installed by our club's partner, Kirin Beverage.


□ Response on the Day
At FC Tokyo, club staff conducted patrols while gathering information through SNS and other internet media, and worked in cooperation with the Tobitakyu Station police box and the local neighborhood association to respond accordingly. Additionally, a caution notice was issued on the club’s official X account.


□ Future Measures
FC Tokyo has also provided information to Tokyo Verdy, the organizing body for the day. Additionally, we have confirmed that both clubs will collaborate to consider countermeasures for the next match, which will be hosted by our club in August.
