The "Hoozuki Street" held as a boost to the economy before the "Asakusa Hoozuki Market" features kites leading the way and parading through the shopping street. They visit each store together with Shin Nyaka, the mascot of the Shin-Nakamise Shopping Street, and perform a hand-clasping ceremony to pray for prosperous business.
