"This time, I have decided to leave FC Tokyo.
Leaving the club where I spent most of my soccer life, both the good and the bad, for about 12 years since U-15 Fukagawa, was not an easy decision.
I am frustrated that I cannot repay the team, fans, and staff who have helped me grow as a professional soccer player with results, but I will do my best to show them the skills I have developed at FC Tokyo and perform to the best of my abilities.
