Regarding the operational verification match for the gradual introduction of vocal support at the 2022 J-League official matches
As announced in the additional operation verification match regarding the phased introduction of vocal support in official matches from the J.League today (May 31), FC Tokyo will host the 2022 Meiji Yasuda J1 League Sec. 20 match against Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo on July 6 (Wed).
In introducing this, we conducted a survey regarding the establishment of a [Vocal Support Area] for SOCIO members and held discussions with related parties including the J.League, and have made a decision.
Details regarding the ticket sales schedule for the applicable match, viewing rules, vocal support areas, and other information will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
At FC Tokyo, since the spread of the new coronavirus infection in 2020, we have prioritized the safe and secure holding of matches and have limited the style of support such as cheering with a loud voice from the perspective of infection prevention. As research on infection risks progresses domestically and internationally, we have gradually reviewed the guidelines and, with the understanding and cooperation of fans and supporters, and everyone who visits, we are currently able to hold matches without causing cluster infections from the stadium. We would like to express our sincere gratitude.
As the next step, we aim to create an environment where the recovery of soccer cheering culture and the passion and unity through sports can be realized while ensuring safe and secure operations. We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.
