3/26 (Sat) Announcement of Sensori Room Installation for Shonan Match

Match info

On March 26 (Sat), at the Shonan Bellmare match, we will set up a sensory room where children with developmental disabilities and other diagnoses, as well as their families, who have symptoms such as sensory sensitivity, can watch the game with peace of mind.
In the 2021 season, we conducted trials in four matches. In the 2022 season, we plan to conduct them in several matches. In addition, we will collaborate with related organizations and educational institutions to select spectators and implement them at the club, so we appreciate your understanding.

[What is a Sensory Room]
A room designed with lighting that is not too bright and soundproofing that blocks loud noises such as loud sounds and voices, providing a safe space that avoids crowds and surrounding gazes. The purpose is to enjoy watching soccer matches or movies through soundproof glass. The premise of this purpose is the idea that the way of viewing and enjoying is simply different from the majority, but the desire to "watch" and "enjoy" is the same as those without difficulties. In the English Premier League, 14 out of 20 teams have sensory rooms installed. (*Text quoted from JFA and J.League)
