FC Tokyo will hold a soccer tournament called "FC Tokyo Winter Cup 2021 presented by Sieg Corporation" for 6th graders.

For the first time, we will hold a tournament targeting 6th graders from boys' clubs and teams that are active in Tokyo. This tournament aims to create memories of soccer life for 6th graders who have often had their tournaments and matches canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please check the following summary and tournament regulations, and we look forward to the participation of many teams.

Providing a venue for tournaments and matches for 6th graders whose tournaments and matches were canceled or postponed, and creating memories of their soccer life as 6th graders.

* This tournament is not in an overnight participation format. It is a two-day tournament with day trips.

Tokyo Gas Fukagawa Ground (2-15-10 Sarue, Koto-ku, Tokyo)

14 teams

□Participation Eligibility
・Teams mainly composed of 6th graders from youth groups or club teams active in Tokyo
・Team that has completed the required application process
- All team members are enrolled in sports injury insurance.
Teams that can participate until the end of the tournament schedule (including reserve days)
・Participants who have obtained parental consent to participate
・Teams that can agree to the policies and instructions (such as infection control measures) of the tournament organizers when participating
・Teams are basically composed of 8 or more (up to 16) players

□Participation Fee
10,000 yen (tax included) / team

□Tournament Format
・Rules in accordance with the Japan Football Association competition regulations.
・Day 1: League matches with 4 teams in each block
　Day 2: League matches with 3 teams per ranking group and placement matches
・Each match consists of two halves of 15 minutes each (total 30 minutes), with a 5-minute halftime break.
・Pitch size is basically 68m × 50m.
・Refereeing is done by a single referee system, with mutual refereeing by the competing teams.
・The ball used is a size 4, provided by the organizer.
・Each team can register up to 16 players.
・Each team is scheduled to play 3 matches per day.
(Training matches and friendly matches are not allowed)

Until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23 (public holiday) *If there are many applications, participating teams will be decided by lottery.
Regarding the lottery results, the deadline for replies will be November 29th (Monday) after the deadline, and we will inform you by email to the contact person by that date.
※If you do not receive an email even on the day after the deadline, please contact the inquiry desk below.

・In the future, depending on the worsening situation of COVID-19 infections, the tournament format may be changed or canceled.
