Regarding the relaxation of the number of visitors
J-League has been conducting matches with a "super strict state of emergency" and a "limit of 5,000 spectators" for matches after July 10 to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection.
As announced by the J-League yesterday, starting from September 19 (Sat), in the matches held under the super strict measures, "the upper limit of the number of spectators will be set at 50% of the capacity. However, for stadiums with a capacity of over 17,000 people, efforts will be made to gradually relax the restrictions from around 30%."

In accordance with the J-League's official release stating that "considering the local infection situation and stadium layout, the allowable number of spectators and the timing of implementation will be decided by the hosting club," FC Tokyo, based on the ticket sales schedule and the infection status in Tokyo, has decided to maintain the current "spectator limit of 5,000 people" throughout September and is considering a gradual relaxation starting from the home games in October.
