Taichi HARA and Rei HIRAKAWA were selected as members of the U-19 Japan National Team for Mexico expedition (September 2–13 in Mexico City).
□Comment from Taichi HARA
“I am honored to have been selected for the U-19 Japan National Team. This year, the AFC U-19 Championship will be held, serving as the qualifier for the U-20 World Cup, so I want to firmly demonstrate my abilities as a chosen member. It is also a great opportunity to compete against overseas players, so I will do my best to make this experience contribute to my personal growth!”

“It is a a pleasure to be selected for the U-19 Japan national team. I believe it is very important to continue being chosen as a representative, so I will do my best to demonstrate my full potential during this expedition. Also, I think there is competition within the team leading up to the AFC U-19 Championship, but I want to prove my worth.”
