□ Personal Comment
'To all FC Tokyo fans and supporters,
I have decided to transfer to SV Horn in the Austrian third division.
I joined FC Tokyo's Komazawa School when I was in the third grade of elementary school. For about 18 years, I was able to grow by playing in the privileged environment of FC Tokyo. Conversely, I do not know any team other than FC Tokyo. I have progressed from U-15 to U-18, and from U-18 to the top team, and I have never had to decide my own path in my football career. Now, entering my 10th year as a professional, I wanted to take on a challenge for the first time in my football life, and I decided on this transfer.
Last July, I was diagnosed with overtraining syndrome, which caused concern among everyone. At one point, I even considered retiring, but after stepping away from soccer, my desire to play has grown stronger than ever. I want to use this motivation as strength and start my soccer career anew in Europe.
Thank you very much for all the support you have given so far. We kindly ask for your continued support for football player Shuichi GONDA in the future.
