□ Hideo Oshio, Mayor of Shiraoi Town
“Considering the J.League’s transition to an autumn-spring season starting from the 2026/27 season, our town has been promoting recruitment activities based on the premise of improving the soccer field at Shiraoi Sakuragaoka Park Athletic Stadium.
As a result, it has been decided that FC Tokyo, which belongs to the J1 League, will hold a camp in our town in the summer of 2026.
On November 7, we visited Tokyo Football Club Co., Ltd. and signed a memorandum of understanding to hold the summer camp in our town in 2026.
Next year marks the 50th anniversary since our town declared itself a sports city, making it a significant milestone. This also means we can offer dreams and hope to the children and all the townspeople, so the decision to hold this camp is truly a very welcome development.
Going forward, we plan to carry out facility improvements in a planned manner to ensure the satisfaction of everyone at the club, and through cooperation with the J.League Camp Invitation Promotion Association, which was established on October 17 of this year, we will make thorough preparations such as improving the reception environment and proceed with our efforts with the utmost care.
□ Shigeya Kawagishi, President and CEO

Even amid the recent extreme summer heat across various parts of the country, we expect that Shiraoi Town’s cool and stable climate and magnificent natural surroundings will allow us to conduct focused training camps.
We sincerely thank Shiraoi Town and all members of the J.League Camp Invitation Promotion Association for their tremendous efforts in preparing the grounds and promoting the camp invitation.
The entire team is looking forward to meeting the people of the Shiraoi community.
