The club is based in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Head coach Michael Skibbe, who led the team to victory in the Meiji Yasuda J1 League Centennial Vision League, remains in charge. In addition to experienced veterans such as Gotoku Sakai and Yuya Osako, who have represented Japan at the World Cup, the club has signed Anderson Lopes and Kota Watanabe this season.
