○Match Report
【Challenge for the Future!】

Sec. 12 of the 2016 Premier League EAST was played away at the 'NTT East Japan Shiki General Ground'.
This week's opponent is Omiya Ardija Youth.
Tokyo, who took the lead in the previous round, is desperate to secure 3 points.
The match started under cloudy weather with occasional sunshine.

【First Half】
The match started with a kickoff by Omiya.
In the early stages, Omiya, moving the ball quickly and systematically, controlled the flow of the game.
Shortly after the start, a mistake in their own half led to losing the ball and facing a threat near the goal, but Go HATANO secured the ball.
After regaining composure, Tokyo also applied pressure from the front line, maintaining a compact formation and thoroughly pushing up the DF line and sliding sideways.
There was a period during which the opponent was prevented from bringing the ball into a finishing position.
Gradually, Tokyo began to create their own time, and in attack, there were moments when Ito played vertical passes from the holding midfielder position, and Sakaguchi sent long feeds, trying to create chances.
Although there was a prolonged period without getting a shot off, at the 20th minute, Hanya broke through to the front line by connecting with a feed from their own half and earned a left corner kick.
From Ito's kick, they launched a substantial attack in front of the goal, with Hanya, Sugiyama, Matsuoka, and Ikuchi taking consecutive shots, but Omiya's block prevented the ball from crossing the goal line.
As both teams launched quick transitions in attack, at the 36th minute, Echi received a pass in midfield from his own half, turned forward, shifted to the right, and made a run into the area in front of goal.
Fukino, who overlapped on the right flank, delivered a cross.
Echi connected with it and scored with a header from close range.
Taking the lead with a quick development, Tokyo goes up 1-0.
After that, Uchida and Ito dropped back to build up play, while Hanya, Matsuoka, and others actively pressed from the front to regain the ball and create chances, but they could not score an additional goal.
At the 44th minute, unable to fully intercept Omiya's wedge pass, the ball was spread to the side, and a decisive shot was taken from Omiya's right area, but Go HATANO made the save.
Maintaining a one-goal lead, the first half ended.

[Half Time]
・Avoid careless mistakes
・Organize well both offensively and defensively
・Give our all to win
Coach Sato conveyed these three points to the players

[Second Half]
From the start of the second half, both teams increased their defensive awareness while continuing a closely contested battle aiming for goals.
Just after the 50th minute, Omiya launched consecutive shots, but thanks to mistakes on their part, no goals were conceded.
At the 53rd minute, Ikiji dribbled deep into the right side. He sent a backward pass, but it just missed Sugiyama.
Tokyo aimed for an additional goal by varying the tempo, and just after the 58th minute, they targeted behind the opponent’s defense but were repeatedly caught offside.
At the 60th minute, although they couldn't finish from the counterattack, they reorganized further up front, and Hanya was fouled, earning a free kick inside the penalty arc.
Ito aimed directly at this, but was blocked by the wall.
While Tokyo was gaining momentum, they couldn't score an additional goal, and as the exchanges between offense and defense intensified, at the 74th minute, Omiya launched a long pass from their defensive line to the left front. They broke through on the left side after getting past the defense.
Unable to stop the opponent's feint here. They scored from a short pass played to the center, leveling the score.
Taking this opportunity, Omiya gained momentum, and the tempo of the match became even more intense.
At the 80th minute, Tokyo lost the ball up front, Omiya quickly advanced, creating a clear chance in front of goal, but Fukino slid in to block and avert the danger.
Both teams launched counterattacks, and in the 86th minute, Hanya made a move in the left area and sent a decisive cross to the center, but it could not be connected in front of the goal...
Immediately after, Omiya also brought consecutive finishes, and both sides attacked each other aiming to take the lead.
However, in the 88th minute, Hanya's shot after breaking through to the front was blocked by the GK.
In additional time, Ito's controlled shot narrowly went to the right.
Then, Hanya and Suzuki launched a 2-on-1 numerical advantage counterattack, but Hanya's final pass was intercepted….
Still, they calmly aimed for the goal, and in the end, a pass was delivered from Ikiji on the right side to Iku Suzuki, who broke through in front of the goal, but the trap slipped and they could not score.
The intense battle continued until time was up, but neither side allowed additional goals, ending in a 1-1 draw.
