○ Match Digest
FC Tokyo U-15 Musashi advanced to the 2nd Round of the "Prince Takamado Trophy 25th All Japan Youth (U-15) Soccer Championship Kanto Tournament." The match against Yokohama FC Junior Youth kicked off at 2:00 p.m. at Yokohama FC Higashi-Totsuka Football Park in Yokohama Sportsman Club.

Since it was a tournament, both teams started cautiously, but Musashi took the initiative first. At the 7th minute, Sekiguchi received a switch of play from Ito on the right side, broke through the opposing DF, and crossed. Kuwahara took a left-footed shot from the center, but it went straight to the GK. After that, the game continued with back-and-forth play, but neither side created a clear chance. At the 23rd minute, moving the ball in midfield and looking for a chance to score, Ito sent a vertical pass to Kuwahara, who turned and took a shot, but it was narrowly blocked by the GK. Musashi intensified their offense, and at the 24th minute, Suzuki sharply intercepted an opponent’s vertical pass and dribbled straight toward the opposing goal. Dodging the opposing DF, he swung his right foot and struck the ball into the left corner of the goal, scoring the long-awaited opening goal!! Yokohama FC also launched attacks while circulating passes, but Kuwahara and Matsuoka devotedly defended from the front line, not allowing any chances. Controlling the midfield and pushing into the opponent’s territory, at the 32nd minute, Ikiji cut inside from the right side and took a left-footed shot, but it went straight to the GK. They continued aiming for the goal through passing play, but the first half ended as is. The score at halftime was 1-0.

Without retreating into defense, they aggressively aimed for additional goals from the start of the second half, attacking the opponent’s goal. At the 45th minute, Kuwahara received a pass in the center and forcefully took a shot, but it went off target. At the 47th minute, Kobayashi Tomoya overlapped on the right side and sent an early cross, which Kobayashi Mikio jumped in to meet, but was unfortunately offside. Musashi controlled the ball and advanced the game in Yokohama FC’s territory. Then at the 56th minute, Ito advanced after exchanging passes with Kuwahara and sent a through pass to Kiji. Kiji dribbled past the defenders and took a shot; although the opposing goalkeeper initially blocked it, Matsuoka reacted more sharply than the defenders and pushed the ball into the goal, scoring an additional point!! However, Yokohama FC also continuously threatened Musashi’s goal. At the 66th minute, they conceded a free kick in their own half. The opponent’s unexpected shot hit the post, narrowly avoiding conceding a goal. One minute later, at the 67th minute, a shot was taken from the center, but the defenders blocked it with their bodies and defended with concentration. Yokohama FC tried to ride the momentum to aim for a goal, but Musashi brought in fresh players to prevent them from gaining control. At the 68th minute, Sakaguchi replaced Kobayashi Mikio, and at the 71st minute, Yonetani came on for Matsuoka. Yonetani, playing as a forward, began applying pressure from the front with abundant energy, increasing the number of times Musashi won the ball high up the pitch. Furthermore, they maintained possession of the ball they won and did not easily give Yokohama FC any attacking opportunities. At the 80th minute, Ozaki was brought on for Sekiguchi to further tighten the back line. Then at the 83rd minute, from a central pass exchange, Ozaki struck a lightning-quick left-footed shot on a ball laid off by Yonetani! The bullet shot pierced the net for the third goal!! The match ended immediately after this goal. They won 3-0 and advanced to the 3rd Round!!
