About Denim Made with Organic Field Cotton

ORGANIC FIELD® is an initiative by Stylem Co., Ltd. that supports Indian farmers in transitioning to organic farming methods, aiming to reduce environmental impact and improve working conditions.
By purchasing cotton during the transition period, called "Cotton in Conversion," we encourage farmers to enter organic farming and aim to promote its spread. The harvested cotton is managed through an organic process from seed selection to cotton cultivation and yarn production, ensuring traceability.
This denim material uses carefully cultivated cotton through the Organic Field initiative.
The yarn is spun slowly and deliberately using rare, vintage spinning machines still existing in Japan, creating a natural unevenness that gives it a rich texture. This yarn is then dyed in a deep, layered indigo color using rope dyeing techniques passed down in the Bingo region.
Furthermore, all processes from weaving to finishing are consistently carried out in Bizen, where Japanese craftsmen meticulously pay attention to every detail and carefully complete the work without any compromise.
This is a highly refined denim that fuses the fabric's natural texture with the craftsmanship techniques and traditions of Japan.
