[Event Report] JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba Held! (July 2026)
FC Tokyo held the JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba on Saturday, July 18, 2026!
What is Nadeshiko Hiroba…
It is a place and time where women, from children to adults, can casually 'start,' 'enjoy,' and 'continue' playing soccer or futsal regularly in their daily lives. FC Tokyo supports and implements the 'Nadeshiko Hiroba' project, promoted by the Japan Football Association (JFA), aimed at spreading women's soccer.
Elementary School Division
This time, the event was held with 18 participants. We saw them full of energy, enjoying interacting with their peers as they engaged in the activities.
During the warm-up, we practiced dribbling using various parts of the feet while avoiding cones, and stopping precisely on signal. Each participant took on the challenge of delicate ball control.
Next, in the shooting practice, they slalomed (zigzagged) dribbling between markers and finished with a goal! Even the children who were nervous because it was their first time smiled and told the coaches when they scored.

In the subsequent one-on-one matches, participants competed to see who could score first, and one person took on the defensive role to enjoy the battle in front of the goal. There were many instances of players persistently trying without giving up, and heartwarming moments where they shared their joy with watching parents upon success.
At the end, matches were held divided into lower and upper grade groups. There were active challenges in dribbling and shooting, and during breaks, the children took the initiative to call out to each other, learn each other's names, and make strategies, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the teammates.

Thank you very much to everyone who participated.
We will continue to provide an environment where children can play safely and enjoyably.
We will continue our activities cherishing each girl's love for soccer!
Adult Division
This time, the event was held with 12 participants. The atmosphere was bright throughout, filled with constant laughter.

During the warm-up, participants exchanged the ball using eye contact, and in the coordination training with groups of three, although they struggled with multitasking, natural and active communication emerged as they aimed for success.

Next, in the face-to-face passing drill with groups of four, participants competed to score points while gradually increasing the restrictions, and this developed into a 3-on-1 ball circulation exercise.
There were many plays where the coordination between the passer and receiver was consciously observed, and at times the whole team was rolling with laughter, creating a very lively atmosphere.
After that, we practiced aiming for goals by taking advantage of numerical superiority in front of the goal. There was an increase in cooperative play with careful observation of the surroundings, and the scenes of high-fiving each other to celebrate goals were impressive.

In the final match, making use of the previous practice, there were many plays where participants worked together with their teammates to "aim for the goal" and "defend the goal."
This time, there were many instances of "connections with teammates" and "active challenges."
Going forward, we will continue to provide a safe and attractive place where all women can feel "I want to try! It's fun! I want to come again!" while supporting each participant’s individual pace and creating an environment where they can experience the pure joy and fun of soccer.
