[For Elementary School Girls] SDGs J Club Girls Soccer Festival & Junior Sports Nutrition Lecture (Shimizu S-Pulse)

School Report

On Sunday, June 14, we were invited by Shimizu S-Pulse and participated in the SDGs J Club Girls Soccer Festival & Junior Sports Nutrition Lecture held in Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture!

Since the gathering was early in the morning, some players looked sleepy, but after the opening ceremony, they energetically took on the matches.

This time, both the lower and upper grade teams participated as a joint team with Kawasaki Frontale, and we saw them actively communicating and playing with players they usually have few opportunities to interact with.

In the matches, there were many moments where usually reserved players cheered loudly for their teammates and played with a focus on defense, which they have been working on at school, showing their individual growth.

There was also an exchange match with mixed teams from all clubs, where players from Shimizu S-Pulse, Yokohama F.Marinos, and Nojima Stella Kanagawa Sagamihara interacted, spending a fulfilling time together.

During the tournament breaks, a nutrition lecture themed on "Gut Health" was held by Morinaga Milk Industry Co., providing an opportunity for both players and parents to learn about diet and health.

Furthermore, we received valuable insights from Tsukiji, a player belonging to the top team of WE League Nojima Stella Kanagawa Sagamihara, which served as a great inspiration for the players.

After the closing, many voices were heard saying, "I'm tired but it was fun!" making it a meaningful day not only for soccer but also for交流 and learning.

We sincerely thank everyone at Shimizu S-Pulse for all their support, from match operations to refereeing!

At FC Tokyo, we have opened a school exclusively for female players and also hold events for girls. We look forward to your participation!
