On Sunday, May 10, during the Meiji Yasuda J1 Century Vision League Sec. 16 match vs Tokyo Verdy (3:00 p.m. kickoff / Ajinomoto Stadium), we will collaborate with the Healthy Heart Day Executive Committee to promote the cardiovascular disease prevention awareness campaign "Healthy Heart Day," which focuses on heart disease, stroke, and other circulatory diseases. Please be sure to stop by the special PR booth on the day.

A "Healthy Heart Day" PR booth will be set up at AO-AKA PARK supported by Joypolis (Ajipanda Square), where original "Healthy Heart Day Cards (business cards)" will be distributed, and a lottery will be held with prizes including original goods signed by FC Tokyo players.

□ What is "Healthy Heart Day"

Circulatory diseases, represented by stroke and heart disease, are known to be the second leading cause of death among Japanese people after cancer. However, they rank first in medical expenses and are also the leading cause of nursing care, making them a significant social issue beyond just healthcare. On the other hand, unlike cancer, prevention through proper education is extremely effective. Therefore, the Basic Act on Cardiovascular Disease Measures enacted in 2019 promotes nationwide efforts for prevention and awareness. The Japan Heart Foundation designated August 10 (Heart Day) in 1985 as "Healthy Heart Day" and has held heart disease prevention awareness events annually around August 10. Since 2021, the Japanese Circulation Society, the Japanese Circulation Association, and the Japan Heart Foundation, and from 2023 the Japan AED Foundation, have collaborated as four organizations to establish the Healthy Heart Day Executive Committee, further advancing awareness and promotion.
