Girls' Soccer Exchange Meeting (for Elementary School Girls) (Nojima Stella Kanagawa Sagamihara)

School Report

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, we held an exchange event for female school students from grades 1 to 6 at 'Sindbad Zama' in Sagamihara City, together with female school students from Nojima Stella Kanagawa Sagamihara!

We deepened our exchange through soccer, crossing the boundaries between the J League and WE League.

At first, everyone did an icebreaker to ease the tension, then formed teams of three and played a cone-hitting game.
We saw them thinking up strategies as a team and working together cooperatively♪

After that, the players were divided into lower and upper grades to play matches. Instead of an exchange match, school players from both clubs formed teams on the spot and played matches in that format.

When it became a match, perhaps due to a different kind of tension, there were moments when the play didn’t quite sync up.
However, as the matches progressed, they communicated well, and calls to teammates and goal scenes gradually increased.

Gradually expanding the court size, in the end, students from grades 1 through 6 formed teams and played matches together.
The younger children desperately tried to snatch the ball from the older girls.

In scenes where goals were scored, you could hear cheers like "Nice goal!" creating a friendly atmosphere, but in the moments of contesting the ball, intense battles also unfolded, blending tension and enjoyment throughout the match.

Through matches where we formed teams with students from other clubs, we were able to play in a different environment than usual and gain new discoveries and learning experiences.
Also, by cooperating and playing with teammates, we were able to truly feel the importance of teamwork.

I hope they will make use of this experience to value communication with their teammates in future practices and matches, leading to better play.

Despite the temperature exceeding 20°C, the children played energetically until the very end.
At the end, while saying "I'm tired~," their expressions were impressively filled with a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment.

We will continue to plan events that make all the girls in the school think, "Soccer is fun!"
We look forward to your next participation!
