[Day 6 Activity Report]
On the second day of the tournament, we played two matches aiming to advance past the group stage.
First was the match against Chelsea. Before this important game, in the locker room, players actively communicated with each other, ensuring detailed mutual understanding.
During the pre-match warm-up, the players carefully moved their bodies while feeling the natural grass, adjusting their condition. This is a crucial match they cannot afford to lose as they aim to advance from the group stage.
The players’ morale is high, and their condition is perfect.
Amid a mix of tension and anticipation, the team unites as one and heads into the match!
As in the first match, there were many moments when we created chances but struggled to convert them into goals. However, by persistently continuing our attacks, we scored two goals and secured our first victory in this tournament.
Riding this positive momentum, we move on to the second match.
The opponent in the second match was Strasbourg. At the start, we struggled with their build-up play and were somewhat pushed back, but we capitalized on their mistake to score the opening goal. In the second half, we used the flanks as a starting point, added another goal from a cross, and took control of the match, finishing the final group stage game with a victory. We successfully secured advancement to the upper league!
In the early stages of the tournament, there were moments when we couldn't capitalize on clear chances, but as the matches progressed, the accuracy of our finishing has improved. We want to continue this momentum in the upper league starting tomorrow.
Tomorrow, we will face two matches in the upper league against Toulouse and Marseille!
