[Day 2 Activity Report] Thailand Expedition 2026
The second day of the Thailand expedition also started with wonderful weather.

For breakfast, we had Thai-style rice porridge.
I was impressed that the players actively ate food different from their usual meals.

The tournament begins today.
The tournament venue is a wonderful environment with six natural grass fields and even a stadium.

The temperature is high, reaching nearly 35 degrees Celsius during the day, but the humidity is not that high.
◈ That said, it seemed to have quite an impact on the players who traveled from springtime Japan.
We are taking thorough heat countermeasures, such as using chilled towels.

They are actively staying hydrated and working hard, with no players suffering from heatstroke despite the temperature difference from Japan.

Before the match, they thoroughly conducted warm-up and meetings to prepare for the game.

This tournament is for the U-13 category, which is one level above the participating players, and they faced opponents who were about a head taller in physique. The players struggled but fought desperately. However, the result was two matches played and two losses.
However, improvements were seen in the second match compared to the first, giving us a sense that it will lead into tomorrow.

The players are not discouraged and are eating well while doing their best.

In the evening, we held a meeting and prepared for tomorrow.

The name “TOKYO” is indeed a global brand, and some players were approached by participants from other teams who asked to take photos together.
We want to live up to that name and give our all in tomorrow’s play as well.
