FC Tokyo has signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement, the "Wide Collaboration Agreement," with Tokyo, its hometown, in March 2023, and is working together to further develop the capital city of Tokyo and improve services for its citizens in various fields.

Digital securities issued using blockchain technology have features such as enabling issuance in small lots compared to traditional securities and allowing issuers (companies, etc.) and investors to connect directly. These characteristics are expected to accelerate the flow from savings to investment and contribute to the realization of a "nation of asset management." The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is working on projects that create various issuance cases by supporting part of the expenses necessary for issuing digital securities. This time, based on these digital securities issuance cases, a symposium will be held to share know-how and challenges among stakeholders and to discuss further issuance. This event is conducted as part of the "Japan Fintech Week 2024" initiative hosted by the Financial Services Agency.
