2022 Season Captain and Vice Captain Announcement
We are pleased to announce that, following the nomination by Coach Albert, Masato MORISHIGE has been appointed as the captain of the top team for the 2022 season, and Diego OLIVEIRA has been appointed as the vice captain. We will inform you again when additional vice captains are selected in the future.
□Captain Masato MORISHIGE Comment
“Towards a new challenge, I will do my best thinking of it as one of the new challenges for the company, the team, and myself.
It has been some time since I was last entrusted with the captaincy, and after gaining various experiences, I am very happy to be appointed captain once again. I will do my best to become a worthy presence as the captain of FC Tokyo.

“I am very pleased to have been selected as one of the captains. I believe this is an evaluation based on my several years of playing at FC Tokyo. I want to make every effort to contribute even more to the team and to help achieve the team’s goals.”
