“I am transferring completely to Nagoya Grampus. I joined Tokyo as a high school graduate, and it took ten years. Three major injuries, I think that there were more hardships, but thanks to the support of fans & supporters, teammates and staff, I was able to spend 10 years.
“It was truly a bitter decision, a decision made after feeling lost. I deeply love this team and sincerely wish for the success of this club. I am taking on a new challenge, believing in my potential, and will be transferring, so I will do my best to make everyone in Tokyo think I am “a bad player.”
I cannot fully express the feelings of these ten years here. They are filled with gratitude that cannot be conveyed by words alone. From now on, it will be a different team, but I would be happy if you continue to support me. I have truly been indebted for these 10 years.”
