Sakurako Ohara was selected as the heroine of her debut film “Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru (The Liar and His Lover).” Her outstanding singing ability and larger-than-life performance were well received and she earned high praise nationwide. As she plays leading roles in drama series and appears as an MC on a terrestrial TV music show, she is now a talked-about, multi-talented new face. After winning “the 56th Japan Record Award Best New Artist Award” last year, she released her second single “Hitomi” in January 2015, which is the official theme song of the 93rd All Japan High School Soccer Tournament.
